World Poker Tour Season 3
If you’ve recently received a free World Poker Tour: Season 1 DVD set from PokerSourceOnline, you know how addicting the show can be! Each tour stop features both professional players and Internet satellite winners, many who have never played in a live tournament before…and the best news is, anyone can win!
This year is no exception.
Beginning on July 17 in Paris, and lasting through April 24, 2005, the Season 3 tour ends in Las Vegas at the Bellagio for the ultimate Championship where winner number three will be crowned. If you’re interested in participating in the tour, check the schedule below for when it’s coming to your area. It’s open to both professionals and amateurs at every stop. You can buy-in or play in satellite tournaments to win a seat. If you want to join, just contact the casino listed below that you want to play at and they’ll provide you with the buy-in fee and any registration info necessary to reserve a seat. Of course, you must be at least 21-years-old. (Note: If you just want to watch, the casinos can provide you reserved seats at the final tables, too.)
Last year’s total prize pool was a record $8.3 million—the first-prize winner walked away with $2.7 million! More than 4000 players played, from all over the world, with different backgrounds, and from ages 21-70. Season Two is currently aired on the Travel Channel at 9 p.m. EST, and finishes on June 30.
